Who I Am
femKreations is a website development site operated from San Jose, California, USA, led by Femy Praseeth.
My website address is https://femKreations.com/.
What Personal Data I Collect and Why I Collect It
While using my site, I may ask you to provide me with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally, identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
When visitors leave comments on my site, I collect the data shown in the comment form, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help Akismet, which detects spam on the site.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive.
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will be set to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.
If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
I have no control over third-party cookies.
I use Google Analytics to collect standard log information and monitor and analyze visitor traffic so I can improve the website.
The data is set to anonymize IP addresses; visitors aren’t personally identified.
For more information on the privacy practices of Google, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms web page.
Who I Share Your Data With
I use Mailchimp as my marketing platform. By clicking the subscribe button in the newsletter sign-up form, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Learn more about Mailchimp’s privacy practices here.
How Long I Retain Your Data
Analytics records entries are retained for 26 months.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
How I Protect Your Data
femKreations is concerned with protecting your privacy and data.
I use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and two-factor authentication technologies to help ensure security. The website is backed up regularly off-site.
In addition, I use website security applications to prevent malware and phishing on the site. Even though I take steps to protect the information, no security measures can be 100% secure.
Links To Other Sites
I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
What Data Breach Procedures I Have in Place
In the event of a data breach, I will work with my security services and web host to determine the scope of the breach and notify any parties regarding compromised information.
If you have any questions about this policy, contact femkreations [at] gmail [dot] com
